به گزارش روابط عمومی استانداری یزد، " محمد یارمند " در این پیام آورده است:
روستا همواره یادآور مفاهیم ارزشمندی چون طبیعت، فطرت و حكمت است و این هموارگی را می توان از تداوم تمنای حضور اصحاب شهر در آن فهم نمود. سكنی، مفهومی شگرف و حقیقتی گمشده است كه انسان امروز، آن را در پس زرق و برق های رو به فزونی شهرها، جسته و عاقبت، جلوه های ناب آن را در محمل بكر روستا می جوید.
روستا یعنی روزگار وصلی كه انسان قرن بیست و یكم عالم زمین،‌ از پس خروارها سرگشتگی و سالها روندگی و دوندگی در طی طریق محتوم تجدد خویش، هنوز كه هنوز است در تمنای وصالش روان است و تاب فراموشی شهد شیرین انس با آن را ندارد.
آری.! روستا یعنی فطرت شهر!!
روستا یعنی انعكاس ضمیر ناخودآگاه شهر رمیده از خویشتن خویش. گرچه؛ ناگزیر اما به غایت؛ بی تردید..!!
روز ملی روستا؛ درنگ¬-گاهی است مغتنم برای تأمل در این مبانی و معانی ارزشمند.
روستا نبض شهر است و این بیان؛‌ نه از روی گزافه نویسی و تكثیر سطور؛ بلكه از روی واقع بینی و اعتراف به حقیقتی حتمی است.
عده ای چنین می پندارند و چنین سخن می پراكنند كه با حذف پدیده ای به نام "روستا" از زندگی انسان امروزین، شاهد رخداد خطیری نخواهیم بود. عده ای نیز اگرچه به اهمیت و اصالت روستا واقفند؛ لكن عمق توجه آنها به این دقیقه در حدی نازل تر از حدود مطلوب است.
در این منظر؛ روز ملی روستا روز تلنگر نیز هست. برای ما! برای شما و برای همگان! و برای آن كه یادمان نرود: «رونق روستاها لازمه قطعی و حتمی رونق كشور است»
و در نهایت، روز روستا روز بازخوانی و بازبینی است. بازخوانی آنچه كه گذشت و بازبینی آنچه كه در پیش است.
اینجانب به سهم خود؛ ضمن پاسداشت این روز فرخنده و فرهمند، رونق بیش از پیش روستاها و قرارگیری آنها در جایگاه و شأن درخورشان را آرزومندم
باشد كه اهمیت رونق روستاها در زندگی¬مان، بیش از پیش در اندیشه و افكار تصمیم سازان و تصمیم گیران توسعه كشور سهیم گردد.
